How to know if my cable is MBUS or FBUS
With a tester measure the impedance between the pin 6 and 9 of the connector that goes into the phone.
If there is a short (0 Ohm) your cable is MBUS, if there is an open circuit (oo Ohms) you have to add a diode as illustrated here..
